boxes–a wage gap card game
print, layout, packaging
The gender wage gap is an issue that the general public isn't aware of, so as part of a student project, I designed a simple card game to engage and educate. Players flip a coin to determine their gender and then draw scenario cards that cause them to either make or lose money. Each card also contains real statistics and research on gender bias in the workplace. The game uses simple, easily identifiable cultural symbols and markers of gender and is designed to be inclusive and informative for all audiences.
