With no separate visual identifier or distinct, intentional marketing pieces, the art department at Indiana Wesleyan University was lacking a way to tell its story to prospective students and to current students. A new mark was created to solve this problem, along with a new name and a clarified vision. The legacy and "blind faith" of professors and students inspired the logo's braille-like pattern which contains the initials of every major and minor offered by the program.
